With the acquisition of real data from the agc, we need to modify the centroiding process to make it more robust. |

After some work with the images, it is clear we need a robust background subtraction/deblending routine and to carefully define the clean region of the image before centroiding. Therefore, using sep, which is slower but much more featured, is the best option, as it will handle a wider range of conditions. Splitting the image into two for background subtraction avoids artifacts in the centre of the image; need to check if masking is a better option. |

These updates, plus 1479, are pushed to 1479. Have run the routines on all the data and am checking visually; need to test changes in proper simulation environment before merging. |
