| Description |

Light to SPS can come from DCBn, the PFI, or SuNSS. The iicActor is the one which will know and declare that. One reason is to know which pfsDesign value to use. We need iicActor commands to declare which source is live. Those commands will arrive from Gen2 and/or PFS. Per |

After SuNSS chats, we agreed to declare the light sources for either the whole instrument or for individual SMs. e.g.:
The sources are perhaps PFI, SuNSS, DCB, NONE (for when the tower connectors are capped?) |

As we will have DCB2 as another light source soon at Subaru, the current set of sources would probably need to be PFI, SuNSS, DCB, DCB2, NONE. |
