Any comments are welcome before creating the repository.

  • Name of the new repository (need to follow naming convention of PFS GitHub)
    • pfs_pipe_e2e (Note that another possibility is dev_pipe_e2e depending on the scope of this project. Any comments are welcome.)
  • Short description of the new repository (one line, to be used as a description at github and web page)
    • A package to build PFS 1D + 2D pipeline and carry out end-to-end testing.
  • Responsible institution of the repository (coordination, development)
    • Kavli IPMU & 1D+2D DRP team
  • Corresponding JIRA project and component (request new if need; default to add a component with a name of repository in the target area, like INSTRM for ics_)
    • PIPE2D & PIPE1D
  • License (OSS license is required; default to GPLv2)
    • GPLv3

I'd like to hear the other people's opinions (especially hassan and Masayuki Tanaka), but I think drp_e2e sounds proper, if you cover only DRP. Listening to DRP telecon on 31 July, I thought DRP teams needed to design the actual end-to-end processing first... If this is the case, I think dev_pipe_e2e sounds nicer at this moment, and we can change the repository name depending on future discussions.

I agree with yuki.moritani - start with dev_pipe_e2e for design and then move onto pipe_e2e once the code is ready.
