Following recent discussions (email thread 'Numbering Convention of Cobra Products' Thu, 17 May 2018 started by Chi-Hung Yan, ASIAA on the PFI@pfs.ipmu.jp mailing list), it appears that certain conventions needed for software (in this case, the numbering convention used for cobras) need to be specified in one central place. An option to be considered is within the PFS data model. This approach will be discussed further with cloomis and rhl and a solution implemented. |

Moved out of datamodel project. More appropriate for INFRA project. Still needs to be discussed if feasible for the PFS. This ideally should be a single, centralized document. |
