 Description

JHU has three NIR systems.

One will always be the next-to-ship real cryostat, for which the piepan is "n1" now, then "n2","n3", and finally "n4". Easy: we will add those to the files as they come up.

There is also real piepan and test dewar in the Optics Lab. That has been called "n9", but I am about mot rename it "n8".

Because the last test piepan is the bench system we use for all development, and which has been named "b9" (i.e. the PCM, temps board, cooler, motors, BEE, are all names "xx-b9"). But we also have a NIR DAQ chain connected to that. I have been hack-renaming that "n8", but that hack has been causing endless trouble.

So the optics lab system will become "n8" and the bench b9/NIR chain will become "n9". There has only been one real dataset taken with the optics lab n9.

All Optics Lab visible data has been taken by renaming all the hardware to match the expected LAM/Subaru cryostat name (e.g. r1 and b1). We will keep doing that.
