 Description   

PIPE2D-310 made changes to the datamodel package without an associated DAMD ticket. This ticket seeks retrospective approval of the changes made. This should include an update to datamodel.txt.

Important background is provided in the pipeline design document.

We can't sign off on this without a summary of all the changes that you made with some discussion to justify them, and I don't see that in PIPE2D-310. The diff suggests that you're just talking about the pfiDesign change, which relates to DAMD-32.

Sorry, this isn't ready for approval yet, but I created the ticket so it won't be forgotten, and the work required to prepare this for approval (updating datamodel.txt and providing a diff of the changes) can be tracked.
