As pointed out in SPS-hardware telecon on December 8, 2021, the offical performance of the instrument is characterized in https://sumire.pbworks.com/w/file/fetch/129441444/PFS-GEN-IPM003001-01_pfs_expected_performance_KYabe_20170731.pdf. Figure 2 containts the throughput curves, which should be consistent with the figure here: https://sumire.pbworks.com/w/file/142508139/pfs_science_meeting_2020_zoom_yabe.pdf.
The goal is to use these curves, toghether with known (are they completly known) spectrums of continuum lamps to understand what kind of blue/red drop do we expect. We also need to understand if predictions from Erin and Jim are consistent with these throughput curves.
I will assing this ticket to me, but I expect a lot of input from Erin.
