Sprint:2DDRP-2021 A
Current analysis on the effect of FRD on PSFs has focused on quantifying the maximum percent variation in flux in the boxcar extractions. This can determine where in the detector FRD changes are larger but simplifies the effect of FRD on the PSF. Further complicating this analysis is the fact that, maximum change in the PSF may be aligned along a different direction than a vertical (wavelength) boxcar extraction, decreasing the effect's detectability from this extraction. The purpose of this ticket is to determine if there are 1D or 2D diagnostics from the PSFs that could better quantify how the PSF varies with FRD change.
