      Description

      I am under impression that it is quite common to see that the PSF fitting to the  images exhibits asymmetry in the quality of the fit to the wings of the psf in one of the wavelength directions. I am showing an example in 1D and 2D below.

      1. investigate if this is true
      2. If true, characterize and understand the issue
      3. Solve it?
