      Description

      The pipeline currently works under python 2. LSST is migrating to dual python 2+3, and some packages may migrate away from python 2 to python 3 in the future. We will eventually have to support python 3.

      When this is done, the .travis.yml files should be changed to build on an appropriate python version.
