Initial project for Kota Hayashi was to work on PIPE2D-1059. It took some time, but I believe we are nearing the end of that work. This, coupled with my limited availability and less involvement means I am struggling to decide what is the best way to continue.
Possible directions are:
Taking donut data and analyzing SM3 donut
Creating global solution algorithm (i.e., give PFS given the position on the detector)
Constructs blue detector solutions
Understanding bad fits in the red part of the red detector
Optimizing parameter finding for donuts which is super-difficult at the moment
None of the above?
