CHARIS has an ics_hxActor which:
- imports and wraps the hxhal DAQ control module
- communicates with Gen2.
This needs to be made to work with both systems. The CHARIS-GEN2 integration run was a bit rushed, so the product needs a fair amount of cleanup. This ticket is just to make it functional.
